Struggles in a day to day life

Everyone as their ups and down days and that is completely normal, and it needs to be normalised that it is okay not to be okay, whether you are a man, woman, or other, it is okay to feel like crap every once in a while.

As most of you may see, life isn’t as great as people let it out to be, there can be happy times, sad times and even in between times.

In my point of view with struggling with mental health is that daily tasks can become difficult to achieve.

Getting up in a morning is a must so you can start your day, however, some days you may feel as though you don’t want to, that you want to just stay in bed all day from the lack of motivation.

Just the simplest of things, such as, getting out of bed, making your bed, brushing your teeth etc, can be affected by the lack of motivation you may be feeling, it will make you not want to do anything but lay in bed all day and do nothing.

But note that it is okay to have these days, it is okay to have a day to yourself, with no one else around you to bombard you with questions and things for you to do when you don’t feel up to it, it is okay to have a day just to relax.

It can also affect your social life, not wanting to go out or to be near people, it can take a toll on your social abilities, just the thought of going up to someone and starting a conversation can lead to anxiety, the million and one questions of, “what if I say something wrong?” “What if I bore them?” “Am I annoying them?” Or even “what if they don’t want to talk to me?” Having these thoughts will cause you to not want to go out there and be social.

You are your own person and you can do whatever the hell you want to, don’t let what other people think put you down, if they don’t agree with you, so what? It’s YOUR life, not theirs, now go out there and make good decisions.

Love your life to the fullest with no regrets.

  1. It is okay to have feelings, to have a rough day – to just be real.

It’s also normal to want some alone time. I find that I need to be careful that I’m seeking solitude, and not isolation.
